Meet Miss Bee

Miss Bee is a joyful, energetic music educator and lifelong champion for young children. With over 15 years of experience in early childhood development, she brings heart, rhythm, and purpose to everything she does. Her work is rooted in the belief that children learn best through play, creativity, and connection.

Before turning her full attention to early childhood music, Miss Bee owned and operated two successful preschools in New York. Her leadership and child-centered curriculum helped shape countless young minds and build strong foundations for lifelong learning.

Today, she leads Explorers Playgroup, a vibrant music and movement enrichment program for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Through singing, dancing, instrument play, and joyful exploration, Miss Bee helps children develop emotional confidence, independence, and social skills that last a lifetime.

Music runs in her blood—she’s the granddaughter of acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Lloyd Mason, and has studied under celebrated composer and organist Dr. Carl Maultsby. Currently, she also shares her talents as a music teacher at Union Cong in Montclair, NJ.

In addition to her work with children, Miss Bee supports other caregivers and educators by leading workshops on play-based learning and best practices in early childhood education. Whether she's singing a lullaby or guiding a group through a high-energy jam session, her passion is always the same: helping children thrive.
